What we’ve done
Son
We built this spot from the ground up. We led pre-production planning and writing, directed production of video and audio assets, and managed post-production. Chip Coldiron the teacher, veteran, leader, Democrat, and father is on full-display. With an advertising budget that would only permit one ad spot to be seen with repetition, we aimed to introduce Chip, contrast him with his opponent, and drive voters to action using a memorable anecdote.
Chip is a servant first-and-foremost. Whether to his country, to his community, or to his son, he will always fight for what is right. Hoosiers in Northeast Indiana are being led astray by a politically ambitious Congressman who makes big, unfulfilled promises when it comes to their health care. For Chip, it was too much. His community, and his son, needed a leader in Congress fighting to actually protect health care for people with pre-existing conditions because for many, it is a matter of life-and-death.

Garrett
We were ultimately much more hands-off in the creative of this project than in other projects. After a two-minute spot that went viral locally, we needed a 30-second spot to deepen the narrative connecting housing, jobs, and a Green New Deal. We had a full team of creative minds volunteering on this project and we played a direct role in scripting for the two-minute spot and the 30-second spot, managed production timelines for both projects, and managed ad buying for the 30-second spot.
Garrett is a leader in the Sunrise Movement and an environmental steward who fights like hell to save our planet. Over the next 50 years, there are very few people who will more strongly influence policy affecting the health and longevity of the Earth. He rode a bike from his home in St. Joseph County, Indiana to Paris, France to lead a US youth delegation to the Paris Climate Accords. A bike. The battle for our home is central to Garrett, who has seen his home, beautiful farmland in Northern Indiana, destroyed by intrusive corporations. Saving the planet and saving our home are one in the same, and whether it’s climate change, exorbitant levels of lead in red-lined communities, or price-gouging by corporate landlords, our homes must be sacred.
